“Bad is stronger than Good”
It’s a quote from someone we respect, and we have to disagree.
Bad is not stronger than good, but it can hit harder.
Good wins because it endures.
When something is operating the way it should, it’s not noteworthy.
When something is broken, our attention is drawn to it. (This is why we pay special attention to 1-star reviews on products and services.)
Once our attention is drawn to it, we work to fix it or replace it.
We may not be convinced that something is bad or broken, or it may take years to find a good alternative.
But once we see it, we can’t unsee it. And over time, good wins out.
